Gates open at 1pm on Friday

Take the N2 past Somerset West over Sir Lowry's Pass and continue PAST Botrivier (DO NOT take this R43 to hermanus/botrivier turnoff). after approx 8km past Botrivier turn left onto the R43 / VILLIERSDORP turnoff. After 14km turn Right towards Helderstroom / Greyton. Follow the road past Helderstroom prison (on your left). The road becomes a gravel/dirt road. Travel on the dirt road until you get to a Y junction. At the Y Junction take the Left fork and immediately follow the road straight ahead.Look for arrows and signs.

TRANSPORT TO AND FROM THE EVENT

We have organised a transport service to and from Origin Festival 2012!

 

It is always better to know that once your partying is done you don't have to worry who is driving or how you are going to get home. The organised transport is a much safer option and allows you to spend the entire weekend at the party! Remember that drinking and driving is highly dangerous and not only does it put you at risk, it puts other passengers and other people on the road at risk too. So rather secure yourself a spot on the bus and enjoy and comfy ride to and from the party.

 

TICKETS

(AVAILABLE FROM SATURDAY 21 JANUARY, 1PM, TILL FRIDAY 27 JANUARY)

Tickets can be bought from Ashanti Backpackers in Gardens where you are also able to purchase your ticket allowing you entry into the party. All transport tickets must be bought prior to the event and the last date to buy them will be 27 January. You will be required to provide your Name, cell phone number and ID number when purchasing you ticket.

Greening

As with all GoodTimes events we follow a strict greening policy, ensuring:

 

• all waste is sorted correctly for recycling and delivered to the correct recycling depots.
• only bio-degradable, re-useable, or recyclable cups, dishes and crockery are used at our bars and vendors.
• only bio-diesel is used in our generators.
• bio-friendly soap is on offer in our showers.

Kids

Kids definitely are cute, but they are not catered for at Origin Festival i.e designated childrens areas and activities. If you will be bringing children or toddlers along they must be supervised by their parents at all times. This is a strictly over 18 year old event only. ID's will be requested at the gate for older teenagers.
